UPDATE: Registration for 2012 Fall and Half Marathon Training is now closed. Registration will reopen late this year for 2013 Annual Memberships.
For those who are considering running the Columbus Marathon, Columbus Half Marathon or some other fall race like the New York City Marathon, Chicago Marathon, etc. our training started May 19th. There is still time to get in on all the fun, but you have to hurry. We will be closing our 2012 Get Fit for 13.1 and Get Fit For 26.2 training sessions on June 15th for new registrations. We will reopen registration for our half and full marathon training programs in October (for the Winter/Spring 2013 season)
Our beginner 5k training starts May 26th, and we will keep Get Fit For 5k registration open until at least through July. Same with our Get Fit For Fun programs.
Our running club welcomes members of all experienced levels and provides a supportive environment for all runners whether you have only run a few steps or have run ultra-marathons!
We meet bi-weekly (Wednesday evenings at 6:45pm) and Saturday mornings (at 7:30am) at either the Westerville (Alum Creek bike trail) or Olentangy trail (near Hills Market in Worthington). Run locations are posted in advance. Each run is fully supported with water and/or Gatorade, cups, etc.
